MTB – Joshua’s new sport

So over the last few weeks our good friend Harry has gotten us hooked on mountain biking and we’ve been having a blast. Joshua has really taken to it and it is pure motivation for him to get his school work done in a timely manner :-)

The only trail we’ve been riding is our local trail Walnut Creek. The cool thing we have been able to do is take the GPS out with us and map our rides. To check out Joshua’s last ride (7 miles!) just click on the satellite image below:

Things are going well. Joshua and Mary Rachel have started up their weekly chess classes for the summer – Joshua is doing very well with his piano lessons – Thomas and Dominic have become ‘best buddies’ and can typically be found having light saber battles on a daily basis.

For those who have not heard we found out we are having another boy! So now we go into negotiations over names. Some of the more popular names being thrown about are Damian, Rafael, Anthony, Maximillian (I’m actually pushing for Maximus the gladiator but I can’t seem to get anyone behind the idea) and Xavier. We shall see how it goes. If you have any suggestions please feel free to send them our way.
